And next time you wash your car watch where the water drains from the bonnet - straight onto those headlights exactly where the crack is on the drivers side one.

What did he use to get them apart, a crowbar ?

Yeh they fog up as soon as I take it for a wash! They're an absolute disaster! They charged me 600 for this pile of crap!

Which begs the question, “why did you pay?”
What an irrelevant question! It was 2 years ago, there was no fogging when I picked it up I had no clue what I was looking for/incorrectly trusted ford and that they knew what they were doing.

Thank you for answering my irrelevant question with perfectly relevant detail.

Those lights will need to be completely disassembled, all existing sealer removed and then everything resealed properly based on what gifts are left behind.

Anybody saying apply more sealer or anything else other than the above is having a laugh.

Im even wondering if they cut the entire top lip off the channel on the lights. The amount of liquid you have in there, you would need some pretty big gel packs to absorb.

Problem you have is time. If it wasn't a daily, it wouldn't be too bad as winter is around the corner.
I was merely thinking of a quick solution if he’s not getting anywhere with the dealer that did this butchery. In reality the lights need binning but could be fixed up to look better if need be. Not having a laugh, just 18 years of experience in a Bodyshop

The lights can be salvaged if DIY'd. The issue is the OP uses the car as a daily and can't have the lights out of the car for any extended period.

OP if you decide to bin them, let me know when and where.

Haha you absolute scavenger! If I binned them I'd offer them for free. I'd happily take it off the road for a few weeks.

What you need to do is workout if the sealant is leaking in air, or it's the cracks, or it's actually where the wires for the lights exit. Whichever one or few need fixing first. It's not easy, me and @V8_MOTOR took about 18 man hours to reopen my lights, strip them down and seal them properly.

Aye I'd be quite happy to do the suggested and just strip it completely and start from scratch and try and get the all the sealant the bang on, fill in the cracks with something and be done with it. Anything is better than it is now!

If you whip the headlights off and pop over on a Sunday, I can look and we can at least take them apart if possible. At worst, you make a trip and check out my car. At best, you walk away with your headlights in 4 pieces.
