Yes everyone wants their car to be unique, sometimes we all can overdo it . Like 26” chrome or colored wheels with spinners?

how is the fitment on these? just like factory? i think i saw a member that has these and he said the fitment was terrible.

maybe a bad batch?

Also what's up with the wiring tot he 3rd brake light? Is it necessary for them to function correctly?
I would call fitment "good", at least on my car. But these cars vary so much with panel fitment, it's really hard to judge. My Ford 15-17 euros that I took off, don't exactly match up perfectly either so idk. I'm also running the blank '18 deck lid panel and my car is a '16. That in itself could be an issue.
As for the wiring to the 3rd brake light, it's needed for the lights to be able to switch modes. My guess is it provides a constant 12v for the transition. Idk exactly what it does, but was told by s550euros that it's needed to switch modes.

Does s550euros provide the things needed for the wiring to the 3rd brake light? (referring to the reverse light)

Finally got my car back from the paint shop and was able to install these. The fitment is great. They look great, like could be OEM. No issues at all. Mine did include the adapter cable to connect both tail lights to the third brake light, which was very easy to do.

Not quite sure what you mean by the reverse light.
The lights come with a harness to plug and play into the 3rd brake light.

The third brake light harness is actually needed for the brake lights to work on the tails..... Thats where it sources its brake signal from. If you dont hook up the third brake like connection you wont have brake lights on the tails. I tested this with and without it.

Just an FYI for those who think these are simply pull off stock tails, throw these in and plug in connector, its a little bit more.

Good info! Kinda interesting that they are made that way. Maybe that helps to reduce the needed electronics and keeps cost down?

It's interesting, as if you look at the connector\plug on the light assembly itsself, you can see where they have the bullet plug coming out (where the 3rd brake light lead comes and plug into each tail light) theres another wire in there as well, almost where it would source its brake from normally, from the cars tail light harness. So im not 100% sure why they rely on a separate source(3rd brake light) to trigger the tails brake functionality.

Did you run the 3rd brake light wiring as well i presume? How did you route the yellow wire from the third brake light at the rear of the headliners to end up in the trunk to connect to the tails. I cant find an obvious wiring path to have the entire yellow wire invisible. Right now theres about 4 inches of wire showing from the quarter panel window coming down there back behind the rear seat where it enters the trunk.
