Has anyone taken the two out and experienced a notable difference between the two in what I would consider normal every day driver? Curious on what people thought.

I got the PP for the gears, the gauges and the wheels. The increased cooling was also a benefit. You may feel a difference with the gears, but I don't think it would be a large seat of the pants difference.

You'll notice a difference in the suspension and a big difference in the brakes.
I drove both, and the PP EB felt a bit stiffer, but nothing major to be honest. As far as brakes... Not a huge difference either. Honestly, I think the biggest SOTP thing was the gear ratio.

Mine doesn't have PP. I would like the wheels though.

I drove both. Back to back.

Didn't notice any difference between them. The PP suspension goodies is all stuff I'm going to replace eventually anyways. The bigger brakes are nice, but I'm going to pick up a set of used GT calipers/rotors as a possibility.

If you want to spend the $2k, get Recaro's ;)

I drove both back to back. One was a Premium with the 20" wheels, the other a PP Base Eco.

I noticed the suspension, brakes and gears. I was underwhelmed with the non-PP Eco. It may have been the car just hadn't worn in yet, but it didn't stop well or accelerate that well. Even my wife, a non-car person, noticed the brakes being poor.

^ I'm kind of intrigued by this. I really like the brakes on the base (and the PP) as they're the brakes from the previous years GT. There's a bunch of brake feel.

Regarding it not accelerating well, that's strange. My EB premium has 3.31's and my buddy's base EB has 3.15's and they're basically identical acceleration wise. I bet from 3.15 to 3.55 is noticeable, but I know 3.31 to 3.55 isn't...

I noticed brake dive on non PP cars that isn't there on the PP car. I also prefer Torsen diffs.

EB PP doesn't get the Torsen. Only the GT PP does.

Also there's likely brake dive due to the stiffer front springs.

It may be specific to that car. The experience was odd, as my expectations were higher coming from my underpowered daily, but I was glad I drove the second Eco.

The dive is definitely due to the front springs, which is the primary suspension difference between the PP and non PP. The rest of it I'd say is the tires. The brakes are a bigger deal to me than the suspension.

The brakes and the brakes alone should be the deciding factor. Bigger brakes = more safety.

Suspension is more composed. I tested a couple non PP and bought PP
