What is the easiest way you read boost? I have an AEM boost gauge but it's just not helpful, it goes in increments of 2 and when I'm pushing decent amount of power its just not safe looking at the gauge.
Any easier ways that something can record my boost?
also should a dyno session allow it to make it that much easier where they can tap into that?
I just want to remain or be near 16lbs and i've seen 14 on the gauge but i rather have something more accurate than eyeing it out at 130 mph down a highway. PC btw

There are a hundred ways to do it but one neat idea I wish I could take credit for is to hook up a high quality tire pressure gauge to the manifold. You can secure it under the hood, even, and check it after a pass. It will hold the peak value until you can safely check it and most people have the needed materials on hand.

Are you asking about a better way to read it or log it?
Logging it hptuners has a analog input you can hook it to. As does sct. If you just want a better gauge nothing is more accurate than a manual gauge

Sounds like you need a electronic digital boost gauge. We sell many brands here at www.lethalperformance.com. Please feel free to give us a call so we can discuss which is best for you. 1.877.253.8425

Better way to log it, i'm using a Lund Ngauge and i know that doesnt have boost readings, however i do need something to log the boost to check what peak boost is, its more for ease of access. I already have a gauge but i just dislike having to look over mid pull.

Look up Matthew E Ames on FB. I think he makes something to add the analog input into the nguage.

Like solarflare said there are ways to get a boost reading on your ngauge. Then you can log it. There are boost boxes on eBay that would be the easiest

I’ve actually have set up a GoPro and videoed my manual gauge and also capture rpm. Little safer then trying to peak at it.
Depending on which version of Ngauge it will take analog inputs as well

Yes but you can’t just plug into it. It will not read properly

Good luck finding the wiring harness that plugs In there since there out of business. But If you plumb in a whatever 5v pressure sensor to read boost and figure out how to get the analog signal into that plug all you need is the sensor transform and you can configure it to read pressure. I’m doing the exact thing but for fuel pressure.

There are still places to order the harness. That is the easy part

With an RTD and the pro features, is there a pressure sensor I can use to log boost? My gauge doesn't have an analog output (snow).

Pretty much any pressure sensor. there are these ones on eBay. a GM map sensor will work

I AM GOING TO SHOW MY AGE HERE, but
mount a boost gauge with the boost number you want to be max, so the needle at that boost is at 12 oclock, straight up at that targeted/max boost.
Old circle track racer trick, as there is no time to look at all the gauges and the vibration .
The target or good scale was needle straight up.
It is stone simple but sometimes K.I.S.S. is the best.
