The history: Loaded Lund flex tune last week after running tank to 0 miles to empty. Filled with e85 and followed instructions. Alch % maxed at 67 and learn flag went from 0 to 1. Dash afr gauge read 10.8. Ran that tank all the way out, refilled with e85 and on drive home alch% went to 85 and learn flag went to 1. Got home and tested the sample that I took at the pump and it tested out at 85%. Loaded e85r tune and drove for 20 minutes and learn flag would not come off 0. Kept rpm's under 4000 and dash gauge read 9.5 afr. Did I do something wrong?

Hoping to figure that out here without bothering Lund with it if possible.

Because if you loaded the dedicated E85R tune, there's nothing for it to learn, cause it assumes you are running E85.

Agh, that would explain it! So the learn flag and alch_pct are only used in the flex tune?

Yes, on the E85R tune (a dedicated E85 tune), the tune / computer assumes that you only have E85 in the tank. Therefore, there's no alcohol content to learn.

I know some of the guys at Lund don't like forum questions, but props to you for finding a solution yourself by posting on here instead of bothering Lund with a question they've been asked too many times. Glad you got it resolved. This stuff can be confusing in the beginning, everyone was there at one point!
