He's saying he got 13.xx WHP just by switching to E85, and not adjusting timing. Once he added timing, he got another 12-15 depending on where you want to call it peak.

I'm just speaking from my experience of seeing spotless fuel systems and engines after tens of thousands of miles on E85.
So he got a solid 25rwhp peak gain from E85 over 93. I really wish I could believe it. Will be on the lookout for more results. If so, I'll definitely make the switch because like I said, tons of E85 around here.

Once again, I've NEVER seen any kind of residue left by a car using regular pump gas. Always been spotless when I've looked inside tanks.

I've always heard about sediment being in tanks ever since I was a kid...but that's just my experience. I've been doing research on this E85 black goo (work productivity was zero today), and I've noticed a lot of people talking about tank/line sediment, and also quality of E85 and the tank/pump it comes out of. That could definitely be an issue. I test mine regularly, so I know it's good, and I know it's not contaminated...but they could be on to something.

I've seen lots of guys get that much power or more, because you can bump the timing so high compared to pump. It's even better for me, because in Commiefornia we only have 91 at the pump. There are some stations that sell 93+, but it ain't cheap. I pay $2.49/gal for my E85.

I've been running e85 in my past four dailies over the past 7 years. Also weekend warriors, over 4 cars if you count those too. Never had that issue once.

I stricktly run e85 only. The closest station to me is about 25 miles away. I have three 15 gallon HDPE tanks that I take in my truck and fill up every so often. It takes me a couple months to go through 3 tanks of gas, as I dont drive it much.

How many miles have you been on e85?

Slightly off-topic but kind of relevant. You guys are talking about the fuel filter being clogged from e85. Where's the damn fuel filter at on this car??

I wonder how much hp would be given through out the entire power band, compared to 91. Were I live all we have is 91, but I do have a station that carries e85 about 5 miles away from me. I dont daily my car either, I autox and time attack every now and then.

I do not have that answer for you, but I switched from 93 because timing was always being pulled out due to knock. Now I'm nowhere near knock on my data logs. If you're N/A like me, I only had to buy injectors and get tuned.

Most likely I'm going to switch to E85 but run pump gas every 4th or 5th tank to clean any goo
