e85 Tune

Gentlemen,

Looking at different tune options and a local tuner (lidio iacobelli) The car is a 2016 gt roush phase 1. Lidio recommended going to an e85 tune and 80 or 82mm pulley. The tune would require new injectors, BAP, Pulley and tune. Has anyone gone full e85? What are the benefits, downside?

Do a little searching. Will say the coyotes love the corn. More power and safer are the pros. Cons are mpg which isn't too bad when you're talking 700+ whp

I just did the switch. I was told BAP not good for E85 so I went with the Sai Li dual pump return system.

This. There are some tuners who will tune for E85 with just a BAP if your injectors are big enough, but running out of fuel up top is a real possibility.

How was the install on the Sai li system? Thinking about making the same switch very soon. My buddy with a whippled Termi says his car runs so much better all around on e85.

OP: This guy local was at around ~750whp on e85 with onlyinjectors and a bap. He didn't seem to be too worried about it though. Not sure who tuned it but most tuners won't tune for e85 without a fuel return system for a reason.

Pretty easy actually...the hardest part was getting the retaining ring off the old pump. There are no instructions but pretty straight forward. Yes E85 HUGE power difference.
