I made some adjustments to my tire pressure earlier and eliminated going sideways on 2nd gear wot. I dropped the tire psi to 26 and made significant improvements.

I guess it’s better to invest on the whole fuel package to avoid the headaches down the road.
Definitely. Totally understand you won’t find too many to agree on tuning that combo.

I had a chance to talk to my tuner earlier. He can tune the DW 400 and DW 95 lbs injectors np. He did mention to go with ID1050 instead because it’s better and bigger injectors for E85 tune. Also asked if a bap is necessary. He said absolutely not, but it helps. Basically for the injectors, bap, and fuel pump labor is around $300-$400. E85 tune is $500. Good deal?

Who is tuning E85 with no BAP and why wouldn’t you get ID1050x vs ID1050’s

Lund won’t touch DW400/BAP/ID1050x injectors, neither will AED, and I don’t believe PBD will either

This is the same shop who installed my P1X. He said the pump is good enough bec I’m not really going for high rp’s although the bap won’t hurt at all and help for the flow. It was the ID1050x. If these guys is going for my money, he would definitely says I need the bap also. The pump did say can handle 750 hp. I think he tune cars very conservative and I’m ok with that to save me from future headaches. HighPSI Performance is the shop. I have nothing against those guys from Lund, AED, etc. because I have never done business with them. One of the tuner said to me, those guys have a blanket tunes and really doesn’t tune your car where we’re from. It makes sense to me because those are collective data.

Thanks man. I’m doing more searching of course. Haven’t heard a single complaint from these guys and they’ve tunes and mods all types of cars.

Fueling is the area where you don't want to try to save money.

Also, I recommend you fire your tuner. Very surprised nobody has chimed in on that yet.

I do completely understand where you’re coming from. It’s a big investments and the unknown when it comes modifying the cars. I might still go to y’all’s route at the end of the day.

Lmao! I know after installing the procharger he reminded me to change the spark plugs and I didn’t of course. After 2 weeks of going wot, my ecu gave me all kinds of codes. I took it back to him and he was laughing at me because he told me so. He cleared the code for me and he can’t change the plugs one week or more so I did it when I had the chance. I can’t wait because I thought I’ve done messed up, but the guys here gave me the correct gapping measurements and so I did it. It was running healthy since then.

This is a whole bunch of funny. I’d find a different “tuner”. No BAP necessary huh with a blower and E85. I’m telling you because I’m tuning my own stuff I have data to back up that roughly 10psi, E85, 1050x’s, BAP, and DW400 you will run out of fuel.

Can you point to the approximate rpm where running out of pump becomes an issue?

I would never ever do it on a DW400/BAP

The GT500 pumps look promising, they seem to holding 90psi to 100psi
