Hey guys about to pull the trigger on the lund flexfuel power package but had a question regarding the e85 portion of it. Once I get the flex fuel tune can I run 100% e85 with just the tune and intake without changing the injectors or fuel pump? Thanks!

Yes. You can run 100% E85 or 100% 91/93 or a combo of both. It's suggested to run one or the other for optimum performance.

flex tune with a 91 base map will give the widest range of fuel and spark mapping .if you run into a bad tank of fuel your tune will be able to cover the timing easier .

Yes you will - not a prob. I'm hooked on the E85 so bad that I begrudgingly put 91 in the tank when I can't locate an E85 station. The difference in performance is that notable (to me).

Also I take it you are running the N~GAUGE/ if so you can read the ALCOHOL content % on the gauge when you have a mix of 93 and E85, truly a difference when you have straight E85 in the tank - enjoy!

No you will at least have to change injectors which I don't think anyone else here noticed you said in your post. I don't think you will need a BAP though I may be wrong on this though

Why would he change injectors ? He isn't forced induction and I see no mention of a cobrajet intake .

It is not needed for the flex fuel tunes currently offered on the S550 platform.

Awesome well there's your answer sorry for the misinformation. I don't know why everyone is changing injectors for it then.

The injectors on the S550 don't require you to upgrade injectors to run e85. That was only for the S197 coyote.

^ What this guy and others have said.

NO Injector upgrade is needed on the15/16 Coyote to run e85 (or flexfuel) tunes.

The misinformation is from the 11-14 Coyotes that did require the upgrade.
