Flex Fuel or straight up e85

I have all three from Lund. A 93 tune, flex tune, and e85 only race tune. Lol! I am running the race tune with my daily driven 18 right now, but I have an e85 station on my way home from work. If I find myself away from e85 I will just switch to my flex tune. Then for the winter I will stay will the flex with 93 in it or switch to the 93 tune. I really only have the 93 tune because when I started Lund had me start with that first since the 18's were so new at the time. I got my e85 race tune for free with my flex tune. You just have to send some logs in before they will give it to you.
I just wonder how much difference there is between the e85 race and flexfuel on e85. if its a solid difference i think a 93 and a e85 tune might be worth it. but if its relative flex fuel seems more convenient.

I haven't tried a fuel e85 tune yet since its not too available by me, but ive tested my flex fuel tune I just built for about a week now and I love it. car seems stronger low and and a bit more midrange. runs great.

What I was told was that peak hp may not be much of a change between flex and dedicated e85 but the ramp up of timing is more aggressive when the tuner knows e85 only is being used. I think the convenience of flex fuel outweighs the little bit of gain you will get out of an e85 only tune in most cases. If you were to have an aggressive dyno tune on e85 only maybe but for what tuners are willing to do in an email tune I don't think the difference is that great. If you are close to an e85 station and get the race tune for free then use the e85 tune, why not? But if you are likely to get caught out somewhere without a e85 station around, use the flex tune. From what I have heard our cars can run max timing with anything over e60.
