E85 Lund & wengerd performance

Hello everyone, I have been doing so much reasearch that I could use all your guys experience and help.

I have a 22 gt manual, all stock. All I have done is added a AWE touring cat back exhaust ( which I absolutly love and recommend ) drop in k&n air filter, removed the carbon filter and added a oil catch can (passenger side). I have been consider at some point in the further I would want to add a ess g2, but until then I’m wanting to stay n/a.
Lund says there is nothing I need to do to go e85 and that I would see between 20/30 extra whp. Wengerd suggest that I do bigger injectors, boosta pump and fuel rail.

PLEASE HELP! I am confused. Is it worth to go e85 or is a good 93tune just as good?

I have a Wengerd e85 tune with just headers and he didn't mention anything about bigger fuel rail, boost a pump etc. The car has been running great for the past 2 years without any issues and always on e85.

I have never used Lund. This do to all the negative feedback people have given throughout the years. They seem to use boiler plate tunes, like one tune fits all when it comes to individual mods. Wenger, I have used for years, hands down every tune was spot on and Taylored specifically for my car and mods. One thing you learn very fast is, if a tunner grenades your engine due to a bad tune or poor advice? They will always say it was your fault. Choose wisely. I am not a mouth puppet for wengerd, I just follow the facts. Good luck

Ditto - Forced induction would require the upgraded fuel pump/rails/injectors $$$ etc, especially with E85 but naturally asperated on E85 is fine as-is.

The 18+ come with DI and port fuel injection. So that means 16 injectors vs 8 port injectors in the previous Mustang's. So for those on the 18+ the 30% increase in fuel demand for E85 is covered by the OEM system. Supposedly, the fuel pump will work harder on E85, so your mileage will vary.

My car is/was Lund tuned, I recently tried another tuner (they all say how much better they are than Lund).

I wasn't impressed one bit. The tune they gave me, the car was slower than the Lund tune. And even worse, they had trouble getting the car to idle right. Lots of surging and stalling. 6 revisions and their 'fix' was to set the car to idle much higher than stock....

You cannot compare unless it's with Wengerd?
