my car guzzles through gas just like all e85 blower cars. My question is how do some of you run E85. I have a station 25 minutes away and was planning to just buy C85 from vp racing in a 55 gal drum and just refill that drum whenever i run out. my question is how to hell do you get that 400 pound mess off your trailer into your shop or garage once its full. Sliding it on 2x4 ? Just looking for a reliable way to store e85 but not spend the money to buy it and ship it. When i say store i mean i go through roughly a tank every 10 days (16 gal). Would it just be better to buy the 5 gal containers and store it for 4/6 weeks at a time. Im aware you shouldn't store ethanol for more than like a month or its recommended not to do so and also it will corrode the plastic container if i'm not mistaken after awhile. Any thoughts thanks!

50 minute drive once ever week and a half doesn't sound so bad.

Are you on the peninsula? I was pretty spoiled because I worked near 101 and whipple and could fill up with E85 right there.

nope :/. i get 9-10 mpg and so far id only need to fill up once every 7-10. now that summer is coming idk the circumstance. I was just wondering should i go with the 55 gal drum if so how would i get it from the bed of the truck to the garage/shop. or should i go with 5 gal steel like barrels and use a shit ton of them to easily transport them they seal identically to the 55 gal. so storage wont be a problem.

Funny thread

You should buy the steel drum truck and store your gas, that looks pretty cool.

Think about the fire hazard a 55 gallon drum of fuel is. It should be stored in a fire proof cabinet away from your house. (I have multiple OSHA inspections at work per year).

My buddy filled many in his F250 a couple weeks ago when it was .84¢ a gallon. He used an engine hoist to set em on the garage floor. I asked him same question. Lol
