Hello everyone,
The title doesn't really have anything to do with one another...

First, I would like my car a bit louder and louder at idle. I currently have stock mufflers with straight pipe resonator delete. The note is great, it sounds great when revved, but I'd like to have it sound a bit louder at idle after it's warmed up. here is a couple of sound clip videos. As you hear it sounds good when driving, nut I'd like a little more volume.
Does anyone have any ideas for a muffler(active exhaust) that will give what I'm after without costing the same as a whole new cat back?

Second, I may be needing store my car for 3-4 months while I recover from knee replacement. Any tips, tricks, advice? I am teaching my wife haw to drive it(manual) in hopes I will be able to at least ride in it...but in the event I can't. I have already looked into trickle chargers, Besides that, should we get out and crank her once a week, month...?

Thanks in advance!

Some of the easiest sound upgrades on the exhaust are either the H-Pipe or X-Pipe, most of our customer come looking for that slightly louder than stock sound without being too obnoxious - trickle charger is a must-have ... anything to keep the pests away (dryer sheet, sound devices, etc.)

No point in starting it until you drive it

3-4 months is nothing for your car to sit

If you'd like to wire the tender to the fuse panel, the following thread has some good references in it.

Enclosed is a general google for storage routines.

If the car is driven occasionally, bringing it up to full operating temperature, great. If the car cannot be driven, that's OK to. Storing the car for three to four months is not an issue. Several of the referenced threads will give you tips.

If the vehicle will not be driven, I would not start the car and let it idle. It does more harm than good. When cold, there's additional fuel being used, in the anticipation of warm-up and drive. That, coupled with any condensation that doesn't get burned off, dilutes the oil. Once parked and off, leave it off until driven.

From your location and videos, I'd study how to dissuade any varmints from taking up residence. Traps, dryer sheets, mints, removing sources of food in the garage, occasionally disturbing the area and doing some regular checks are good practices to follow.
