Hi Guys-

I want to upgrade my 2021 Non PP GT to
2015-2020 MUSTANG PERFORMANCE PACK 6-PISTON FRONT BRAKE KIT.
WHat is the part # for the dust sheilds? I am buying piece by piece and not the package.
Thanks Antony

Do you want the full dust shields or the mini ones?
I want the ones that would come w the bullitt calipers. They dont include them w the caliper kit.
Thanks Anthony

The Brembo use the small shields
They are more to protect the ball joint from heat than anything else
Thanks for. Reply. Oh ok., got it!! So when I do brembo upgrade, remove non PP shields permanently? And use the smaller sheilds?
Thanks Anthony

Correct, replace the big shields with your new small ones.

I have been swapping front pads and rotors for track days. Since I pull the rotors, I have been removing the big dust shields and running without any shields.

When I get the new small shields, they will always stay on, so that will be one less step. But I'm getting tired of the whole back and forth process and I wouldn't mind just swapping pads only and stick with one set of rotors. Experts will tell me to keep pads and rotors as matched sets, and it's hard to argue with that.

Having said all this, I must point out that I was "over it" with all the front brake dust on my wheels, and finally bought a set of Powerstop Z23 pads. Perfectly fine for street use and now my wheels stay clean and shiny for as long as the rest of the car. Highly recommended.

Thanks a bunch for 411. I just ordered them on ebay. Thanks for Z23 pad tip, they are great pads. I had them on my foxbody, good stuff.
I got a great package deal w Geomet cross drilled and slotted rotors, pads and hardware on R1 CONCEPTS. 30% off everything, came out to $550. 😁 w free shipping.
Thanks Anthony

You don’t need to change pads and rotors, you just need to finds pads that are compatible with each other
Call a company that mostly do race pads and they can tell you which compounds are compatible with each other
Cobalt have great pads
