I'm contemplating doing the muffler and resonator delete but I'm curious if it has any drone or anything on the highway. If anyone has the muffler and resonator deleted let me know how it is. I already know I love how it sounds just driving around but i'm not sure how it is on the freeway at a steady speed.

thanks guys!

You talking about just straight pipes after the cats?

When you cut out the pieces of an exhaust that control sound and bad harmonics that's exactly what you get. Drone and rasp.

Honestly for how loud it will be straight pipes don't drone that bad at cruise compared to a loud chambered muffler setup. It will be loud as hell at wide open and it will be raspy like an old farm truck.

Resonator delete (x-pipe) and nothing else gives absolutely zero drone.

Solo Performance with the J pipes (just installed mine last night) has no drone. It does have a bucket ton of LOUD though!

I have a rear muffler and suitcase resonator delete (stock cats still) and I just had two 18" case (the longest ones they offer) Dynomax race bullets and an X pipe welded on mine today. Zero drone at any speed I've tried and quieter at inside the car at part throttle than the two dual inlet dual outlet super
10 Flowmaster mid mufflers they replaced, but surprisingly I think it sounds much deeper at idle now (car has a more pronounced "heartbeat" at 600 rpms in the car) and it is definitely cleaner sounding and less raspy when I rev it up. I cannot wait to hear it with 1 7/8" long tubes and no cats but I might end up putting two 5" round straight through rear mufflers back on it at that point to tame it depending on how loud it gets because I have a 5 year old daughter.

I have the Solo Performance Mach XV and this gives zero drone. It is also a lot quitter than I expected but that's a ok per wife.

Do you by chance have a video of your exhaust? I have been wanting to go with that same set up.

Calling out OKC #1 spot after axle back install.
Keep it stock, you do not want an exhaust.
