Are they working while out on a drive?

I read the Owner's Manual, page 82. One of the conditions required for the feature to work is, "3. The transmission is not in park (P) for vehicles with automatic transmissions or you release the parking brake for vehicles with manual transmissions."

It also appears the feature might, might, be turned on and off using the Informational Display (large screen), if equipped.

"Switch the daytime running lamps on or off using the information display. See General Information (page 109).
The daytime running lamps turn on when:
1. The lamps are on in the information display.
2. You switch the ignition on.
3. The transmission is not in park (P) for vehicles with automatic transmissions or you release the parking brake for vehicles with manual transmissions.
4. The lighting control is in the autolamps position..."

Did you (or anyone) do something right before this happened? Or has it always been this way?

Electronics, especially now, can be touchy.

Aside from ensuring things were installed correctly (no damage during replacement) and items were all securely fastened...

Are these Ford OEM bulbs? From Ford dealer or their site? The correct spec? Are they third-party bulbs, made by someone else, possibly not the correct intensity or design?

I see that you are in the UK, it's possible that the daytime running lights are not programmed to be on due to the lighting laws in the UK.

UK pre facelift models the DRL is piggybacked with the fog lights not the tribars. If you have the lights to manual do the DRL's stay on ?

I would take a peek at the connector assembly. You can either open your hood and remove the plastic radiator cover or remove your wheel and pull back the fender liner. It would be that a connector was never plugged back in when the headlight bulb was replaced.

Hi Rod,

My Mustang is a 2016 UK Version so it did not have the tri-bar LED, so i bought a set of US headlights with the LED Board inside etc etc. ive connected it up

the ballest are 35W now and now the UK 25W so abit brighter :-)

Green from TRI_BAR Led goes the old DRL from the Fog lamp
Yellow Goes the the Side lights (parkLights)

all come on as they shuold apart from when i start the engine up.

ive since found out the the the System has a detect on if it dectects a higher pull on the system them will go off.

the system is different to the US version of the car

so thats what in thinking. there must be somthing in forscan to may be program it.

if anyone know how to prgram it in Forscan that would be a great help

other than that ile need to test it again but remove it from the DRL FOG connecter will keep you posted on that

Did they work the way you want before the bulb replacement?
If yes, review everything disturbed for the bulb replacement.

To troubleshoot I'd unplug them from the fog light and see if there's voltage at that connection with the engine running and go from there.
