At 55, the adrenaline rush when you hammer the throttle is STILL there. I own a 1970 Mach 1 351CJ with a 4-speed Hurst and it still burns rubber. I love the smell of burning rubber in the morning. :headbang: Looking forward to ordering a 2016 GT350.

Thanks a lot guys, I'll post a picture as soon as I get my Stang.
Be patient, it might be in the spring 2015 or later that year.
PS : It will be a Ecoboost Premium fully loaded.

I will me 58 soon and I drive my 06 gt manual every day to and frome work.As long as I canstilldrive it will be a mustang gt manual. Thay will have to pry the wheel out of my cold dead hands also. Nothing beats banging gears in a V8 muscle car and listing to that deap growel. On ramps are a blast.

I feel really young in getting a Mustang now...seems like this is an "old" peoples car now, kinda like a Buick lol.

I keed, I keed :D

I'm 27, but I'll be 28 by the time I get it this fall. I also don't care how old I get, I will ALWAYS have a sports car of some kind and plan to have the mustang till death do us part or I trade it in for another mustang in the coming years.

I'm 27. I would get what you want. If you love it and enjoy it, buy it. I can't stand it when people tell you can't have something for some reason or another. You only get one life. Enjoy it.

I am 31 but the 2015 GT I have on order will be the third Mustang I have owned. Starting from when I was 17 years old. I plan on driving them all my life and will have no issues driving one in my 60s. Get it!

I'm 23 and it will be my first Mustang or sports car in general for that matter.

The beautiful thing about this car is there is no real demographic, just enthusiasts.

Ronny, its never too old to drive a Mustang. And anyway if you are feeling old, you need to drive a Mustang to feel young again. :D

You have a super cool mom! :hail:
She is, and I only half joked with my brother about her getting a ticket for doing a burnout at a stop sign. I know she'll light them up, I just need to make sure Johnny Law isn't around.

Its got its share of young people.. you have a ways to catching up guy! Lol. There is a ton of girls, uhm, women in mustangs too... so is it a girlie car? When I got my TT the demographics of it were typically mid 40s... I felt a little the same as you but that didn't matter to me, not too many young guys were in it back in 2001

Age is the last thing to consider when you consider driving....... driving anything. I'll be 41, almost a few months shy of 42 before I get my hands on my stang (living in England now, dang it! Bad timing) and I intend for that to be my last and only new car for the next 2 decades (as long as I look after it). If I move back to the States, then I'll just get a future cousin of my European stang..... regardless how old I get or how silly people think I am. Passion and love has no room for age. It's for all and everyone.....
