That image is $$$$ thank you. THANK YOU!!!! 7 degrees max for R = a little more for non-R.

Excuse the quick crude image thrown together. But from what you are saying, can you not swing from the left side where the main road in red goes so that you can angle into the yellow drive?

Thanks for the image and question. I think based on the information received so far I can "modify" my driveway without asking permission... enough to get it under 7 degrees. Goal is to drive in like a normal person... perhaps at 100 MPH but you know.... I may need to pump the brakes to make it work.

Viviamo a 10 minuti da Taormina e 20 minuti alla base del Monte. Etna - pubblicherà sicuramente video di run up entrambi. Santa Ninfa è molto lontana da me ma ci guarderà dentro: :-) Esplorare la Sicilia non sarà mai stato più epico di quando questa macchina arriva qui.

Forget about a car man. You need a helicopter to reach your residence.
Just build elevator alway to the top and big enough for car - problem solved.

Awesome idea. Calling contractor now.
I have same issue with my dryway. But I have room to enter or exit in 45 degree angle.

BTW how did you purchase GT350 in Italy. Is the car easily available for purchasing and what is the price?

I dropped my ride height 1" all around and used https://curbramp.us/ to be able to get back into the driveway. Easy solution for my needs. Landlord actually purchased for me and I installed in about 2 hours. FAQs had a tip to color when curing, tried it out and it blends in fairly decent with the concrete driveways of townhouses in the neighborhood.

Most importantly the Mustang and even the Lexus can enter the driveway nose first or backing up without any bottoming out or scraping.

I am importing it; paying VAT/IVA and registration = a ton.

Oddly enough a Ferrari or Lambo cost more here than one sold in the US = thanks to horrible Italian government...

Any complaints from you are going to fall on deaf ears... you live in Italy and you have to constantly look at ITALIAN WOMEN....!!!
I've been there, I know what the scenery and the "scenery" looks like.

Italian Disclaimer
The two poorest manufacturers in Italy are the ladies bra and ladies full size underwear manufacturers.
(What a beautiful place)

I lived in Italy one year in 1989. At work for my first day my boss gave me orientation. He said: "Leonardo, you may not show up to work in two occasions. First - you met a beautiful woman in the morning coming to work. The second - you're dead."

Lambo's and Ferrari's are in class of their own however, you should get some special attention there with the GT350.

Regarding Honey Badger's comment, I agree that you are going to scrape at times and the splitter is robust and fairly inexpensive piece. I think a balanced solution would be to get some type of insert to reduce the steep angle and then install some extra protection underneath the splitter. SLIPLO is a good solution for allowing the plastic material to glide across vs scraping hard... I know there is a product by ZL1 where you can insert additional metal contacts points into your splitter, but I like the SLIPLO idea as it takes a lot of the friction away. If nothing else it makes it easier on the ears and nerves.

It's Sicily. They'd be crazy to let people modify things too much given it's history and significance. Not surprising to me.

For what it's worth, the stock valence in the front is built exactly for this. It's cheap, durable plastic built to scrape and bump. Trust me, I banged mine of kerbs, dragged it on the ground in hard corners, and scraped in my own tight driveway of my first house. It'll scuff the bottom, but that's fine. It was built specifically for that use case. I wouldn't worry about it. I'd be more concerned with parking damage and door dings in Italy anyways :)
Thanks - great point. No longer worrying about it. I met with the guy that put the driveway in, hand laid stone, and he will adjust entry.

Italy has, sadly, become FAT like America. So... those manufacturers are in business - big business. Thank God my wife weighs about 95 pounds even after twins.

Italian women are... SO HOT. Married one myself. First visit to Italy in 2005 when we met and I told her I would marry her some day. She thought I was crazy.

Hahahahaaa fuck them.

Literally had the entrance to the driveway wall knocked down and moved inward to allow the driveway to be extended. Decided to buck the local system and do what I wanted anyway - without approval - because the area of entry is still ON my property. So the angle of entry will be much improved over the current entry angle because I am adding another 25 to 30 feet of driveway and it really helps present a much better entrance. Was also able to add in a small gate on the right side that has stairs that tie in with the terrace stairs above.
