Me, not having my new 2018 mustang gt yet, I have a question on the s550 models, what;s the 1 2 3 on the drivers side door next to the handle . I've seen this on videos and don't know what it's for. I've had a 2003,2004,2008,2010 and 2011 mustangs and never seen that before, thanks for the info-Tonyd1:ford:

It's for saving/recalling custom seat and mirror positions. When you get in the car and start it, your seat will return to it's previous position (it moves back when you get out), as well as your mirrors. You can set presets with those buttons.

Seat position memory so if you have multiple drivers, they can store their seat positions individually.

I came into the mustang life style late in life, I was 54.5 yrs old. I've owned 5 up to date now,2003 zinc yellow GT, 2004 azure blue mach 1,2008 candy apple red Steeda equipted GT, 2010 Roush 427R torch red and a 2011 race red GT500 Shelby, and hopefully a 2018 ruby red GT auto. tired of shifting all the time, thanks again for being a good human being,lol-Tonyd1:cheers::cheers:

LOL this thread is funny

I guess I need to delete in my sig that I'm waiting to order an '18.

It did get entertaining quickly!

on a side note, I CAN'T own any car I want. If I could, I'd be on the Audi R8 forum.

thanks guys, your the best , the idiot took his posts down, so all is good now. The other 5 mustangs I've owned never were as techanal advanced as the s550 cars, that's why I'm asking a few question so I can be up to speed when the 18's finally are released for ordering. I never meant to be a pain in anyones butt, just curious and I am excited about getting the 18, it'll be my 6th stang in my life time, well thanks again to all who were human enough to answer a few questions for me , YOUR THE BEST and proud to be part of this group, to the other/s-GET HELP!:amen::amen:

Buy the way, I find the memory seat option very handy. My wife is 5'4" and Im 6'3" and the seat sliding all the way back automatically makes it much easier getting in and out.
