Has any one posted pictures of the "K" Brace?

The strut tower brace is only on Performance Pack models or convertibles. The firewall brace there was discussed a couple of weeks ago but I don't recall the answer.

This would be sweet, I don't have my convertible yet, but it's due next month, a GT premium w/manual. Looking forward to the strut tower brace, was going to see if the one for the PP could be bought as an option if it didn't come with one. None of the sales literature or Ford web sites list the strut tower brace as a feature for the convertbiles

The full black brace may be on your convertible, but I don't think the strut tower brace.

That is the stock STB that comes on the PP GTs and the LE.

Performance Pack (GT and EcoBoost) cars get the black brace going back to the firewall.

Non-Performance Pack cars with 20" rims get that black brace.

Any other car gets the "half brace" which is plastic.

I just bought the stock Strut Tower Brace and the full black brace. Here is a comparison of the full black brace, and the "half brace".

The full black brace is shipped exactly like you see it... no packaging, so I'll have to paint it, since it got nicked up a bit.

By the way, the "half brace" is really just a support for the battery cover and the cowl (which is why I keep putting it in quotes, since it really isn't a brace at all).

I ordered it from the dealer... but it's the same price from Tasca (you'll have to pay shipping, but no tax).

I'm trying to get these parts before my car arrives. The build date is 12-22-14. Looking forward to a pix perhaps of both installed. Thanks again.
