Anyone running one? Let's see what you chose, and what tire sizes you chose. Is anyone running a 215/55/18 radial on the front with a 6" wheel?

These all look nice guys, keep em coming.

So do most people prefer the Forgestar to say VMS or Weld? Is it problem driving long distances with the skinnies and the front runner type tires? The reason I ask is I plan to drive this car 3-4 hours away to different shows/events.

Skinnies are fine. Itā€™s the radials in the rain you need to worry about šŸ˜‚

Yeah I know about the drag radials, been there done that with some past Fox bodies I have had. I don't plan to run drag radials though, I am just gonna run 275/50/17 Nitto 555s. I want the look more than the actual purpose...

I understand exactly what you mean.
Iā€™d probably run something like a 18x7 +0 offset with a 205 or 215/45r18 and a 17x10 +50 on the back.

Will still give the look but less compromise for daily driving.

I was planning on running the 5" front like everybody does but use a 215/55/18. They will stretch onto the 5" wheel. I was just curious if anybody on here had done that?

I ran 3.5ā€™s up front with radials for a while back in the day. Normal driving was fine, but sharp curves at much speed werenā€™t something I wanted to do after pulling it off once.

I donā€™t think driving on bias ply front runners would be a good idea in curves for long distances. They flex and could possibly peel right off the rims, whereas a radial is stiffer and is less likely to be an issue.

I wouldnt recommend MH racemaster front skinnies. Not nearly durable enough IMO they last only a few thousand miles, and actually kind of dangerous. I hit a slight bump at like 120 mph and the tire deformed and almost blew out. Next time im going with mickey thompson sportsman for the front. Also ET Street R only work when they are new, if you spin them they turn into crap and hook worse than all seasons.

When the ET-Rā€™a start showing wear like that, theyā€™ll clean up with a good burnout on a nice surface. That stipling occurs from road use.

Can we fit 10.5" rear wheels on these cars? I am very interested in the Weld Belmont but I want to run 18x10.5 rear with either 295/40/18 or 315/40/18 Nitto 555s. My car is lowered on eibach pro springs. It appears they have one in the gallery on their website, but I can't make out the tire size he used.
