I'm installing new axles and will be running a pair of Nitto drag radials on the rear during the warm weather. My kids live about 200 miles away from and I'm wondering if I can leave the drag radials on for a trip to visit them. I bought a pair of eleven inch rims for the 305's and was going to run my 275's on the front. Trying to avoid swapping out four tires for the trip. I'm old and lazy.

You can certainly leave the drag radials on for a 200 mile trip and then some. I had a set of Nitto drag radials on my 1999 GT and I daily drove on them, thus getting several thousand miles out of them.

By leaving them on, you’ll also be ready if/when you happen to encounter someone that wants to accompany you to a safe location to settle any differences.
Very true.

I keep mine on during the warm weather months, as a matter of fact they are on the car now. You will be fine for that 200 mile trip, even if there is a little rain. I've actually put a few 200-300 miles trips on them. Of course that is probably why mine are wearing, pretty quickly lol.

Absolutely leave them on!

I air up a little to about 28-30 if I’m going longer distances like that. Otherwise I run 24ish if I’m wanting a little more grip. Lower at the track even.

Drove my 345 30 r19 nitto 555r2 from San Diego to fl2k21 last year, they had a few thousand miles on them before that and still have a little life left, and when warm they hook ok at my 600whp, but they are over a year old now and the traction is definitely going downhill quickly, I plan on replacing them once a year, at 1k per set that hurts a little.
