Yo
Many people joke the southern response to snow but we don't have the resources or infrastructure to clear roads and the statistical frequency for people to learn or be educated on how to drive in it. This can really add up and just not be worth the risk in the grand scheme for literally zero-1 times a year
You hit the nail on the head, regional lack of resources and experience in inclement winter weather due to winter event infrequency is the real issue here. Be safe out there!

This one hurts my heart to see... hopefully you get it covered up or tucked away soon. Just curious, what tires do you have installed and have you driven the car since the snow, how did it handle? Be safe out there!

Crazy. I think it was 2010 that there was now on the ground in each of the contiguous states. I was in Alabama at a plant site and the guys were mad that I brought snow from home (I am from Buffalo). They had about 4" and the area came to a standstill.
It was your fault man 😂, be safe out there!

Yesterday it was -14..... It gets cold here but this is a once every 25 years or so event.
Snow so deep in the south is crazy!

Hopefully this is just a one time deal for you guys down there and doesn't become a winter trend...

this is my "nice weather/weekend car" I drive it maybe 1-2 times a month December-February. I will NEVER drive it in this weather and that picture is from this morning. I probably wouldn't drive It in this weather even if it was an emergency. Just not the right car for the job. I have a crossover and wife's car for basic transportation.

I have Michelin PS4's on it.

unfortunately condo life means the car is outside 24/7 I wanted to cover it up but just could not get home in time before the snow started. Should have done it day before. Not the end of the world. Southern Virginia gets snow 0-1 times a year and the car gets rained on. 🤷🏻‍♂️ either this or don't have a fun car

You guys are adorable. This is what a snowstorm looks like. JK, have fun out there, be safe. I don't think that even a single snowplow exists between Texas and North Carolina.

Looks like it'll be a good while before you can even think about hitting the streets in the Mach 1! Be safe out there.

Glad to hear you don't plan to attempt to drive the car right now, those PS4's will give you nothing but grief in this weather...

That is a strange site indeed for FL, I'm guessing Panhandle area?
I'm in Eastern WA State right now but I'm originally from Miami FL, you and I both know what happens to people when the mercury dips below 70 degrees down there...😂. What's crazy is that I'm still driving the car, had it out on the highways and byways doing redline pulls, sunny in the 40's with no snow on the roads, I'm going to enjoy it while it last.
