I haven’t thought to check it since the steering wheel has never been off, but I should just to be sure. Thank you for the tip.Seems kind of silly and I think you’d notice other issues as well, but is the bolt in your steering wheel slightly loose? Enough that it’s still holding the wheel against the column but not fully seated?
Something I did check was the two bolts on the steering shaft in the engine bay, which was recommended to check. Those are tight.
