Never heard of nibble control until today.

My money is on brake rotors. You threw a gauge on all 4 and confirmed they are not warped?
I haven't checked my rotors with any tools to verify they are not warped. However, my braking is smooth, and honestly I would be shocked if the rotors were warped. The 25K I have put on my car in these 4 years is nearly all freeway. I drive slow and pre-plan as many stops as possible.

Funny, I've been getting a slight jiggle between 45 and 50 miles per hour ever since installing DWS06+ on my car. Not enough to bother me, and I don't spend much time at those speeds where I live, so I haven't bothered to get the tires rebalanced.
I warrantied out two of my DWS06+ tires that had some run-out that I didn't like (road force figures were about 21-25lbs on those two tires). All of my tires now have less than 15lbs of road force and have nearly no run out issues now. Unfortunately the car drives the same.

I even re-installed my factory 18 inch wheels/tires (which drive perfect when the car was new) and took my car on a test drive, and the same shimmy existed at the same speeds.

All of my tires visibly had less than 9 lbs of road force, and ran smooth on the balancer. One of the wheels that took the most amount of weight is currently a rear tire, and took 3.25oz. The rest wanted less than 1.5oz.

I’m running 275/35/20 Continental DWS06+ tires on all four corners, and am running an aftermarket American Racing wheel with hubrings.

I just performed an alignment, and do not have any loose front end components.

I first noticed the shimmy around 10k-15k miles ago when I installed my first set of used 19 inch wheels, but quickly realized all 4 of those tires were out of round.
Are you sure it is not tramlining? What are your alignment specs?

I don’t believe my car is tramlining, however, I did price out the front subframe brace to reduce tramlining since it appeared to only be about $150.

I’ll find my alignment spec sheet from a few weeks back and post a picture of it, I’m drawing a blank on what they were.

I was experiencing this issue prior to alignment. I figured I’d double check where things were at in case something was super out of spec. I decided to get rid of as much toe-in as an experiment.

Next week on one of my days off, I plan on adding some additional negative camber into the front since this car came with visible negative camber front the factory, possibly adding some toe-in.

Maybe you had a prior alignment issue that caused some tire cupping? I had a cupped tire and it caused some steering wheel shake similar to what you described. New tires and alignment and it never happened again

Fortunately, my tires only have about 3,000 miles on them and are wearing evenly with no cupping or feathering. (just purchased in March of 2023).

Does changing steering modes affect anything?
I would say no. Maybe in”sport mode” the shimmy is slightly dulled, but it definitely doesn’t totally remove the shake.

I’ve tried different combinations of steering modes with traction control disabled and advancetrac disabled with no change.

I even unplugged the rack and went for a drive, the shimmy still exists at 55mph.

Seems kind of silly and I think you’d notice other issues as well, but is the bolt in your steering wheel slightly loose? Enough that it’s still holding the wheel against the column but not fully seated?
