Its going to be a few weeks before I have time to install my new to me diff. Is there a preferred way of storing this? Both axle holes are wide open.

I use the little Red Cups you can buy at 'Dollar Tree'
If they need to be a tighter fit, wrap some electrical tape around them till they fit the seal snugly, or tape over them with duck tape.

The torsen doesn't really leak out the half shaft inputs like the clutchpack if it's been drained. Just some paper towels or something.
I'm not worried about out, I'm worried about stuff going in. I'll definitely flush it but want to minimize contaminates.
