Can anyone tell me the difference of these two Differentials

A TORSEN rear diff, with axles removed, there will not be any bar in it and you'll be able to see through it. That is your top image.

A Trac-loc rear diff, with axles removed, will have the "bar" for the spider gears and you won't be able to "see through" it. That is your bottom image.
