Between the STEEDA S550 MUSTANG IRS ADJUSTABLE DIFFERENTIAL BUSHING INSERT SYSTEM - URETHANE or the BMR 2015 MUSTANG DIFFERENTIAL BUSHING LOCKOUT KIT?

I know the STEEDA kit comes with street and race bushing but just wondering.

I would guess the BMR kit falls somewhere between the Steeda Black bushing and their race aluminum insert as far as stiffness.

I can tell you from installing in the Steeda kit (BMR was not released when I bought) that the BMR kit will probably install easier in the front.

With Steeda I had to have all four subframe bolts loose to so I could move the cradle back as far as it would go. I couldn't get the bolt and bushing inserted on the drivers side because I couldn't tip the bolt do to the thickness of the bushing to get it past the gas tank. With the BMR using thinner material there I think it would have dropped in easier.

Good to know. I'm trying to do a single purchase of BMR cradle lockout, springs (SP080) and differential bushings. I just see the Steeda bushings being talked about a lot and haven't seen much about the BMR so just making sure I'm not missing out on something.

I just finished installing basically the whole BMR parts list and I was very happy with the quality of everything. I've driven the car a little bit to settle the springs but the alignment hasn't been done yet so I haven't pushed it hard.

The car feels very flat cornering and braking. The biggest surprise though is how immediate the power transfer is when you stomp the gas.

I run mostly BMR but when it comes to differential inserts, go get STEEDA.

IMHO, it is a superior design.

Why did you switch? I was leaning toward the BMR solution, but now I'm not so sure.
I didn't go with the aluminum pucks because of the risk of bending or shearing my diff bolts. The black diff bushings I put transformed the car and it feels like it can kick some ass now.

The aluminum pucks made for massive amounts of gear whine and nvh, and they were beginning to run against my cradle wearing the pucks which also means wearing on my cradle. Can take pics when I get home if u like

Ok, this makes sense. Easy decision now.
