How the hell did my thread about valences turn into interior and model bashing. Holy hell.

In any way. I like the premium diffuser. If I can find a comp orange premium with PP used or for a good price, I'll get it. Or I may just get the base and then plastidip the lower portion of the stock valence.

I like the diffuser, but IDK if it is worth the 4k premium since I don't really care about the rest of the premium stuff. The selectable drive modes would be nice, but a tune will take care of that I'm sure.

Whatever helps you sleep at night. The base model for these cars are unacceptable. Especially when 20k hondas and toyotas come with better interior

The above started it I believe. Then I followed with a little gasoline :D

Because some clown that thinks his interior is far superior (even though its 90% identical) QUOTE]

I see you've said this a couple times and can't tell if you're serious, but the only thing that is the same interior-wise between the two models is basic layout.

Differences include:
-The entire dash panel, including infotainment and toggle switches
-Leather on seats and door trim
-Stitching on dash, steering wheel, seats, door inserts, shifter
-Additional soft touch materials throughout
-Power adjustable heated/cooled seats
-Mycolor for gauges and ambient lighting
-Dual zone climate control
-Additional speakers

off the top of my head

I didn't read through all of this but it seems to be a pissing match. A lot of folks go with the base because it's cheaper, but I'm sure some actually like it better....I ordered my car as a base with recaros. I do like the center stack of the premium model but didn't want all the other gimmicky stuff. Pony projection lights, multi color interior lighting.....not my thing. My wife's focus titanium has all that stuff and it is nice in that car but seems gimmicky to me in a mustang. I wanted a base interior. If ford still offered manual windows and locks I would have gotten that, too. But hey....guess what...if you like the premium model better I'm happy for you. Just don't hate on people with a base car. Some of us prefer them that way.
Couldn't agree more. I wouldn't mind having the center stack or the rear valence on the premium (just so I could have quads) but the rest of the pkg wasn't worth it for me especially after comparing the leather seats to cloth recaros. (don't get me started on the 50th editions with that cheap chrome) I still can't believe that those mustang puddle lights actually come on these cars. I would much rather Ford put their R&D into performance rather than ricer junk like that. oh well lol

LOLLL the fact that u really just looked through over a month's worth of my posts to find me talking about an unrelated topic is hilarious
It actually took 2 seconds by going to your profile and clicking the "mentions" tab. I was hoping to find a picture of your chromed out 50th edition so I too could get my morning laugh

This reminds me of the VW forums, when talking about other cars. The interior quality came up, only when the other car's performance was better.

Amazingly similar.

Some chose features and lower spec performance. Others chose performance, and lower spec features.

Grow up, realize even a premium is MEH in the world of interiors, and enjoy your car.

I'm guessing you found it but didn't comment when u realized it was better than a base rear. I'll help though since I like posting pics of it

Nope, didnt find it.....but now that you posted it, the guard is so dark most would not notice your rear is any different unless you pointed it out. What they would notice on the rear is that disgusting blingy tailight trim and badge that does not go with the blacked out wheels and rest of the car (except the awful factory chrome pony on the grille)

Boooom son that just happened! Im done now, have a wonderful weekend bud!

If you wanted, you can buy a premium rear cover and valence from the Levitown Ford(sic)? guy on here on the forums. Get it painted+ parts most likely around $700 total.
