Whatever helps you sleep at night. The base model for these cars are unacceptable. Especially when 20k hondas and toyotas come with better interior
Actually, the base models , for me, are PERFECT for this vehicle. I wanted the lightest weight S550 I could get with an automatic transmission with 3.15 gear. I have a plan, and this was the perfect lighter weight car to start with.

I see a lot of sore anuses in this thread. Base model interior is really ugly but if u never had the premium then I'd imagine it wouldn't be too bad. The list goes on and on with what u lose going base model but if it's a track car it's all good. For a daily, I personally couldn't accept it

I definitely wouldn't call the premium or base interior ugly/boring. The base has less shiny shit, but it's got a nice layout and everything flows well. So the small screen and the buttons remind you of an Atari, who cares. It actually fits the whole "jet cockpit" design language much better than the premium model.

Have you been inside of a fighter jet cockpit (not including the F35). They're not exactly BMWs in there.

Oh ok, lets continue this game. The color of your car is really ugly.......but this thread was about rear valences

literally the only difference on the dash physically is the screen and some chrome switches right? so how is it that much uglier? lol it cracks me up

I guess you gotta justify that lil baby motor somehow

probably has to justify his eco premium purchase to himself, knows he should have skimped on leather and gotten a GT instead :)

Base car, because of rear valence issue, I would only do Black.

I can't believe a vendor hasn't come out with an overlay that looks like a premium rear yet. The first to do it will make some money

To me, the valence is sort of a nude versus panties proposition -- either way, it's a nice backside...

Base valance doesn't flow well with the flat black side and front valances. I'll be platidipping mine at a minimum, might get it pro painted to match sides.

I really wish a vendor would just make a valence that could be added by cutting the base bumper (like the 13/14s and the GT500/Boss diffusers) On that note, I don't see anything wrong with the base bumper, I just want an option for quads without re-buying the whole back end lol.

It's less noticeable, but still looks dumb, IMO.
just looked at pics......until right this moment, I never even knew the premium rear had the black plastic trimming around the sides, I thought it was just in the bottom center of the rear bumper with the painted insert. Goes to show you know its not that big of a deal. I own the car and never noticed that, guarantee you regular people that see your car in traffic dont

But like I said earlier in this thread. If i Had any other color but black or magnetic, It would bother me that I did not have the black with painted insert on the rear

lol since when did this thread turn into a bunch of base models justifying their shite interior. This is 2015, your interior looks like it's 2005. Gotta get that v8 or it'll question your 'manhood' right?
