I was hoping to do NC500 run, but my car will prolly not be delivered until late july or even early august judging by the delays I seem to get. Would be nice if they would even give me a reason for it, but we know that will never happen.

Remember the post by Andy Barrett commenting on they will post reasons for delays on the forum, never happened or even mentioned by anyone from the official ford department.

Lol, no faith, you have around 10 weeks until NC500, and your car is in Southampton IIRC, you've probably got around 3-4 weeks maximum to wait? .

Sorry, predictions suck with NI car's as not actually had enough through to analyse data based on it.

For anybody given a June 2016 estimated build date like me, Stacey has kindly explained the following reason for the build dates now being estimated as July:

Unfortunately the plant over allocated for May and therefore orders have over spilled into June build slots, this in turn has then caused June builds to slip.

Bah . . . haven't asked for an update yet, while I don't know the new date the old one might still be valid . . . . I live in hope!

So, as the end date for MY2016 builds was 1st June and the start date for MY2017's was 2nd June, does that mean the over allocated May builds will now be MY2017 instead of MY2016, or will they just extend the MY2016 build run?

Doesn't affect me (mines confirmed as a MY2017 and unlikely to arrive until the end of this year)... just interested in how it will affect those in production around the changeover time (Sync 3 instead of Sync 2... and the rumours they've moved the cup holders/handbrake to the correct side and sorted the wing mirror issue for RHD - unconfirmed of course)!

Got my window sticker this morning with a date at the top, presumably the blend date although this isn't stated, of 19th May - I've had my VIN since 16th March !!

Is it normal for the window sticker not to show all details? Mine has no mention of the shaker system and also states 19 inch black wheels we whereas I've ordered the custom pack. Car is due to be made on Thursday so I hope it's right :shrug:

Is it normal for the window sticker not to show all details? Mine has no mention of the shaker system and also states 19 inch black wheels we whereas I've ordered the custom pack. Car is due to be made on Thursday so I hope it's right :shrug:

Did your dealer show you a print out from Vista of your order with the specs on it?
Mine has Voice-Act Navigation system, 12 speaker system at the bottom under Optional Equipment.

I don't know if it's from Vista or not but I have a printed Ford order form stating V8 GT Custom Auto but there aren't any details of that under optional equipment on my sticker. I've asked the dealer to double check. Vista details from dealer haven't updated since mid March when I first got my VIN. ETIS only gives a basic description eg V8 GT auto.

I know there are plenty who seem to have been waiting longer than others, but I do feel like I have the shoddy end of the stick. Ordered and paid deposit for my DIB GT Sep 26th, yet on Vista my order date shows up as Dec 15th! Is this seriously telling me my dealer didn't put the order in for almost 3 months?

Had a VIN early Apr but my window sticker didn't go live until 5th May with a blend date of May 11th. ETIS has had primary details since May 13th now but the car still doesn't seem to have gone to the upfitters yet.

I'm getting excited, but again get a bit peeved off when I hear of people ordering the exact same spec car in January and it's already in Baltimore

I don't think I've seen a single person who ordered in Jan who has a car in baltimore, that being said, ford now quoting 7 months with 12 weeks (3 months) for delivery included, it's entirely possible (Order Jan 1st, Build May 1st (4 months) + 3 months for delivery, so August delivery possibly).

Don't think any RHDs have done it though.

Your window sticker should show EU Custom package and Nickel lustre wheels. Print it out and go shout at your dealer.
