Hi,

Ordered on 16 Feb, at the time the dealer reckoned 8 months until delivery, hopefully a bit less ?????

Paul;

I've not made a great start off the line in this exciting race, still no window sticker to go with my vin number and two different estimated build dates.

My build date was today so I hope she's currently running down the production line.

If it helps I waited around 6 days from getting my vin but I'm not sure how long it had been allocated as I chased my dealer.

Hoping etis updates tomorrow.

Fingers crossed yours is soon!

I've had my VIN for 16 days yet but still no window sticker.
I'm not too bothered, I'm almost enjoying the wait in a way...

I got my sticker 8 days after my VIN and if the window sticker is accurate there is now a race red mustang sat somewhere in flat rock having the seats / radio etc bolted in.

Just a quick question, I am sure I read on one thread that the window sticker option through research maniacs is now not possible (I THINK i saw that) I know you need a vin first but in Manders comprehensive guide it showed that the next stage is to find the window sticker. Is this still possible??

If you have a VIN you can put the VIN in on Research maniacs, that'll show a window sticker, the window sticker will have a blend date which is the day your car will begin being built (may not finish on that date, but 99% of the time it does)

I received my VIN 4 weeks before my window sticker went live, but when I did finally get my window sticker the car was built 6 days later, swings and roundabouts with timings really

Yeah, the process isn't the same for all, i think I know of someone who had their VIn for 2 months before their window sticker, it's usually VIN - week 0. WS - week 1. Build - week 2. But can deviate from the process

I'm getting a perverse pleasure from the drawn out wait.
I'm usually far too impulsive, I booked a holiday last month in the Bahamas the day before I flew and once bought a small army tank, sight unseen l, because I suddenly wanted one.

So having to sit back patiently is doing me good! :D

Hi,

So far running to schedule, window sticker was just over a week before build date. Build according to schedule and ETIS updated with build date the following day. Minor features updated the day after.

Built on 13 June

:D :D :D

I guess that shows the randomness of the order process, although we ordered on the same day I have a build date of 26th June and an estimated delivery date of 17th Sept.
My mate who ordered from the same dealer two days before me already has his car built.

I think you might just win the race unless yours hangs around at the docks.
Still, it's early days, anything can happen... :)
