Won't be drilled until it's at the dealer. Just make sure they are aware not to fit either bracket. Make sure it's written down, in an email, phone calls, every thing!
Thank God will get on to the dealer, thanks mate

5 more days to go..... just unloaded at the dealers and off to see it tomorrow and drop off a few bolt on goodies. Pick next Weds with luck as out on Mon and Tues. Ooohhhhhh so close. Dealer on pain of death to drill holes but have to say Lucas at Warwick is very on the ball and only he is allowed to authorise any work on Mustang prep at the dealer.
THis could be one amazing Xmas.

Great stuff. Mine arrived at the dealer's in Eastleigh around weds so approx 5 days from landing in UK to dealer's forecourt. I also am visiting today for the first time, collecting on Wednesday, I have told Eastleigh ford not to put plate holders on, based on other people's experiences I'm 50% expecting to see it on there already and let's of blank faces when I start ranting.
Today should be a good day.

Well it was all tucked up in the darkest corner of the workshop ....

And to be honest not a lot to see....a few others came on the same load such as a lightening blue, 2 X RR from what I could see.

More pics when it's out in the daylight and stripes etc added. Weds is not that long to wait !!

Just back from a few days away in the Alps... To the news that my car didn't make it across on the sailing of the 11th, but actually the 18th. Ford Logistics are now quoting (via my dealer) a December 31st delivery date. Dealer seeing what they can do, but no Christmas Mustangs for me so it would appear. :(

Well tomorrow mid day is meant to be pick up day at high noon........just the matter of a bumper to swap over after they drilled holes in it. We shall see if there is a call to delay it even more. However fingers crossed it will happen.

Did you check the WWL website? That was the main source of info rather than the dealers telling me what was happening .

Also check the marine tracking AIS free site. Live updates on where the boat is. Great resource for those who are stalking their cars.

If I could pass on a thought here? My dealer told me the holes would not be drilled etc and it was 100% guaranteed. I did put in writing and email and spoke to him. However guess what, they drilled the holes in the workshop. The sales guy I think did all he could but it only needed one person not to listen or to forget. If I could do one thing I would create a laminated sign for when the car gets to the dealers and masking tape it on the bumper to say NO DRILING HOLES. I would also remove the black plastic mount that is left in the boot by the US builders.

I'll do this when it arrives at the dealers thanks for the advice

Thats bizarre, its all done by VIN number if you had the right one then I cant see the liner company making that mistake, saying it was onboard but then not on according to Ford.

Whatever and wherever it is, I hope its sorted for you ASAP. There are many tinkering bits to do before the spring and we cant start too soon can we !!

Think I've got the right VIN, can't be too many GB\Ebony Autos with the Custom Pack knocking about! Got me first bit to fit too, a plain decklid with a charging pony to replace the ugly faux full filler the Euro (Aussie too?) cars are subjected to.

Enjoy yours, I'm looking toward to seeing her fully unwrapped and box-fresh!

Same situation as me, what ETA have you been given?
