Went for ST66 ANG.... Slight gamble that the car wont be ready and available before Sept, but based on most people's experience I think it's a safe bet that my car wont be here until very close to that time... Anybody else treat themselves this morning....?

looks like Jimboy2 suspicions were correct. I'd previously been given a build date by dealership of 2nd June... Stacey has just given me the estimated build date of 5th July... So either the dealership got it wrong, or ford are now putting back UK builds for domestic market... Gutted to be...

That's a nightmare.... surely they could ship the part in a matter of days - I'm sure you've asked the same question... Hopefully, very close for you now though... I think a lot of the Ford garages were caught off-guard with the mustang (no excuse though!)... I phoned a couple of places around...

Thanks... A coating like Gtechniq I think will definitely be worth the investment for me, it will be a pleasure to spend a bit of time each weekend washing the car, but after that I think I'll want to be driving it... so a three year coating which I can then spend an hour or so adding to each...

Thanks all, i'm liking the sound of investing in getting the car coated with something (every so often) and also investing in pressure washer, snow foam lance, clay bar/wax etc needed for the weekly wash.... maybe I'll invest in some of this now, and get all of the "damage" from poor technique...

I'm a mid-Feb order too and dealer confirmed build date of 2nd June. Mine's an EB, which based on V8hgt dates, would seem the V8 and EB are now on similar timescales... Or is there some reason for slower delivery after build for the V8.... maybe a much slower boat :D
