I don't know if it's from Vista or not but I have a printed Ford order form stating V8 GT Custom Auto but there aren't any details of that under optional equipment on my sticker. I've asked the dealer to double check. Vista details from dealer haven't updated since mid March when I first got my VIN. ETIS only gives a basic description eg V8 GT auto.
This is what my VISTA screenshot looks like, ask your dealer for yours and check that they ordered the correct spec for you.

Thanks to all who replied. I've emailed the dealer to check as none of my information other than the order form I was given back in December, makes any mention of the Custom pack although it's clearly stated on the order and in the amount invoiced.
This could be the dealer cock up of the forum.
Hopefully I'll hear tomorrow and there will be time to correct before it hits the factory floor on Thursday.

If it turns out that they didn't order the custom pack for you then you won't be able to change it before it gets built.
I tried to change the paint colour in January but couldn't as it was locked in, this was about 2 months before it was actually built.
What you could probably do is when the car arrives at the dealership get them to change the wheels for the silver ones.

It's not just the wheels though, it's every part of the Custom pack which is missing so if they can't change it there will be a cancelled order, the final straw!

Yeah I was just thinking that it was just the wheels and the window trim, but I suppose if they didn't order the custom pack then you won't have any options at all :frusty:
They would need to find you a cancelled order then with the same spec. Hopefully it won't come to that, I hope they did order it correctly for you.

Firstly please don't flame me !!

Secondly - I must share my frustrations with people complaining on delivery times, please read on.

I ordered my car in April 2015 and had a confirmed order via my dealer in May 2015. At this time I was told the car would be approx a 12 month wait and arrive in quarter 2 of 2016. For me with this done I had decided that the car would come June 16 and this would give me ample time in saving a sizeable chunk of money to put down as a deposit. I then sat back and tried to forget about it. It was then in November 15 that I started looking on the Internet and joining forums and reading about delays and contacting that Stacey person at fords for an update.

I have to admit here that my dealer has been an absolute legend with my order, everything I have asked I have had answers, replies and no BS !

Come Jan 16 I thought I would get an update and was told via the dealer that the build date was mid Jan 16. At this time I started getting excited and tried as much as i could to forget about the new toy.

It was then the beginning of March that I had an update that the car was in zeebrugge and that I could expect the car mid April. At this point I did my utmost to not harass the dealer and in the end he pulled some strings and I picked the car up 31st March.

So, from the deposit paid date to collection was 11 1/2 months.

Now my problem. I keep reading that people have just paid deposits and already they are chasing build dates. I know we are all excited but if it's 9 months wait then it's a 9 month wait - what happens if your partner is pregnant ? We know we will be getting a new baby in 9 months and we sit back and wait !

Let's all just chill the f&&k out !

Yes we want our cars, yes we are all excited and yes we all smile like Cheshire cats every time we drive our cars but we need to exercise some restraint and understand that the sale of this car has been a worldwide success. I don't know if the sales are what fords expected, but it's boomed and fords are doing their best to build a quality car.

Since I took delivery of mine, it has been back to the dealer as I was a little unhappy with some panel gaps but one day with them and the issues appear to be sorted.

Let's all take our hats of to ford and have a beer for the success of this wonderful car and understand that when we have a given time scale for the car that's pretty much what we can expect.

Sorry for the rant but I have seen so many of these threads about delivery times and just needed to say my two Penneth.

I really hope theres been some sort of rectifiable mistake and you get it sorted tomorrow. Is it possible you've been given the wrong VIN?

I don't think I've seen a single person who ordered in Jan who has a car in baltimore, that being said, ford now quoting 7 months with 12 weeks (3 months) for delivery included, it's entirely possible (Order Jan 1st, Build May 1st (4 months) + 3 months for delivery, so August delivery possibly).

Don't think any RHDs have done it though.
Mine is pretty close, but it was 1st November order, and a MY16 colour. Built 13th March. Delivers next week, so that's 7 months (ish):headbang:

Was more infering ordering in Jan for May/June deliveries is a bit optimistic, could be wrong, however, as Davis89 said, he's early jan, he's not expecting until july, and he's an Ecoboost.

Just been to see my dealer and it appears I now have a VIN at long last with a MY17 date code in it. Looks like I have to wait till September for delivery though. At least now I have something tangible to look forward to over the summer months

Out of curiosity, when did you place the order?
