So I have a built sleeved coyote with Stage 3 cams with ARH 1-7/8" LTs non-catted and 3" H going to Borla Atak Mufflers. Looking for suggestions on how to deepen the sound of the exhaust and get less raspy sound. The car is stupid loud since the cams have been done. It is so loud and obnoxious i can't stand it.

So looking for suggestions and recommendations from other experience. Want deep sound less rasp..... Anyone try the Varex or any electronic type mufflers

Mine rasp, but only the 1st 5 seconds on cold starts. But I bypassed the electronic valves & just have reg exhaust now. But I'm no where nearly as modded as you (basically stock) so I'm sure that makes a huge difference in sound.

These engines are raspy by nature. I find the headers bring it out more, but in a good way.

That said, adding some resonators and some quieter mufflers will help some with both rasp and your loudness problem. H pipe instead of x pipe as well if you're looking for a deeper sound.

I have Texas speed headers, cats, hpipe and mbrp street mufflers. At idle, it's still a bit quiet. WOT And above 3k, it gets absolutely wild sounding, but still not overbearing in loudness.

I do have an H-pipe and went that route for sound depth. Don't get me wrong the car sounds amazing and all out race car from 3500-8500+rpm Just cruising around town and it sounds like dogs--t from 1500-3k. It has a 4c converter so that doesn't help much for the cause. Sounds good at idle and start-up. Just looking for a deeper sounding muffler versus the Borla Atak currently on. Resonators i could also install and can't see them stealing much HP.

I run Texas speed non catted LTH into a MBRP Race cat back. Was too loud initially so I then added bottle neck resonators after the H-pipe. This Is the end result

Two of these right after the H-crossover.

Make sure the H-crossover holes are cut to the proper diameter and match the I.D. of the crossover tube.
Keep the ATAK axle back, the long SB resonators should get you exactly what you’re asking for.

+1 for AWE Touring. Zero rasp all the way to redline.
Sounds Great and appreciate the input. I spin this thing to 8500. I know its going to be loud just looking to clean it u and make it sound better on the street in the low rpm range
