Hey everyone,
I currently have a stock GT with the active exhaust and am looking for an aftermarket catback (full or axle/mid-pipe combo) that has a deep tone without drone or rasp. Any recommendations with active exhaust?

just delete the resonator , why do you want to lose the ability to make the car quiet and loud , go with an h pipe res delete if you want more a deep sounding 5.0

seriously i love the active exhaust with my resonator delete , do that first and go from there .

I have had a lot of exhaust systems on my car and the two systems I know that truly don't have drone are Corsa and Borla. If you want deep tone I would definitely go with a H pipe. For the mufflers either the Corsa Touring/Sport Active mufflers, or the Borla S Type active mufflers would be great.

Get the Mach 1 active exhaust upgrade kit from Ford Performance and pair it with an H pipe res delete. Or just keep the stock mufflers with an h pipe. The FP kit is half the price of any active catback system out there and still cheaper than most active axle back systems. Plus you get a great tone, great looking tips and the Mach 1 rear valence

A tip from Down-Under, the most cost-effective option and I believe the best sound outcome with AE is a resonator delete and install an H Pipe. My 2019 Bullitt sounds amazing in all active exhaust modes (except quiet), with the Race-Track mode being the best.

Watch Steeda as we get closer to Black Friday, they usually have some really good deals on their resonator deletes. I got my H pipe last Black Friday for a stupidly good price. Have not seen it that low since. I should’ve bought an H and an X just because 🤭

I did the Pypes H pipe resonator delete as it was almost half of anyone else's. The sound will be the same from any manufacturer for a single H. For the H pipe kit, shipping and a shop installing it(as of a week ago) I have $250 all in.

Definitely an H pipe for a deep tone. I went full Borla S type with the Active mufflers. It came with an X pipe and I do love it, but I think an H pipe would probably be a good fit.

Got any sound clips at idle and on a drive-by?

Thanks everyone for all the recommendations. I'll definitely do a delete then with the h-pipe for now. Anyone know how much a difference there is between the Corsa Double H and the Steeda Single H?

For the price, I’m not sure there’s a noticeable difference between the single and double H but I’ve only heard the double h via YouTube videos. The double H is on sale at Lethal so that helps price wise
