Wow, very cool how you were able to capture the blue to purple change. That's hard to do. It is rare when the car looks purple like that. This color changes kind of like the old mystic paint did, just not as varied. Mystic would change from green to purple to gold.

Shoot! I don't know what happened there. I posted this from my laptop at work and it "was" about the same as the middle pic. I look at it now on my home monitor and it does look purple. :doh: It didn't look like that when I took the picture.

Race Red does something similar in that it changes to different hues of orange/yellow. It also has to do with the camera used as some struggle with contrast.

I'm running duel monitors at work right now... on monitor 1 the picture is Blue and on monitor 2 the picture is purple. :rant::doh:

I did Tail of the Dragon back in July. It was a blast but crowded. Not sure where you'll be coming from, but Foothills Parkway is a great road to get there. On a sour note, I hit limp mode about half way through. First and only time in 4,000 miles. You can run the Tail almost solely in second. Only had to go down to first or up to third a handful of times. You will really get to see the potential of your car!
