Inside but it's visible from the outside too. Unfortunately there's also like a million small dots but that's just wear and tear on the windshield I can't do anything about
I think someone already mentioned, but after the tint cures, take it back to the shop and point it out. It might also be an imperfection in the film and not the glass.

I have my entire windshield tinted as well. I would park in the sun for a day or two and let the heat dry the film out. I would be surprised if the bubbles don't come out. Tint likes time to dry and fully cure. I have never been stopped for my tint either. I have ceramic Xpel ceramic43% on entire windshield and a 5% tint strip on top 6 inches. The tint strip gives an illusion the rest of the windshield is not tinted. I will never drive another car at night without a tinted windshield. The bright ass aftermarket LED lights no longer bother me at night. The daytime sun no longer bakes the dashboard. You almost don't need sunglasses during the day.
Oh I get ticketed all the time. But they aren't bubbles, ones like a scratch/deformation. Not a bubble? And the little dots I think are just the windshield being sandblasted by road debris and stuff from normal driving

Oh it's not the glass. They redid the tint from before since it had wavy distortion. Which this one also has and last time they said it would go away after it cured and it never did. But it didn't have that big line across it that looks like a scratch, it's not a windshield issue it looks like the tint got kinked or creased there and didn't lay down right

Got it. Sounds like the installer may need a few more lessons…

Heard good things from a friend when I went to them, probably not going to use them again because it's not worth the drive when I can do someone closer. Just hoping they make it right and don't try to blame me for the issue. They took care of some distortion after just under 2 years so I'm sure they will take care of this. Going to send the email tonight asking about if they think it will go away or not and go from there.
