Ahhh. According to everything I've read, you would have had a much better experience with the "fr3" dampers from the ford performance track handling pack. Also, I realized that 194 lb/in isn't all that much for the front of the mustang. My previous car was a 1992 volvo 240 wagon which probably had about 1600 lbs over the front axle and I was running 200 lb/in springs up front (mcpherson strut type) with a similar front/rear ride frequency ratio as the GT PP and koni sports (yellow) set to full stiff. The volvo handled great and the ride was very comfortable. I'm sure the 225/60R15 tires helped a lot with the comfort over rough surfaces, but even hitting bigger bumps where the suspension was being worked, it didn't jostle my insides or anything. The car just felt very planted and smooth. I'm leaning heavily towards the ford performance track handling pack, but swapping the springs for the similar spring rate gt350 base springs to maintain ride height.

...
But is there a MR version of those dampers?

No. You're probably better off with the magneride now.

Ford Performance does offer a magneride handling pack which includes a tune. Part number is M-9602-M. I have heard that Ford's magneride tune is not as advanced as other manufacturers' such as GM and that you might benefit from a flashable aftermarket controller and a tune. I don't know any of the details about why people think Ford's magneride tune is not as good.

Well, I have 3 engineering degrees and I still choose to not go down certain rabbit holes for tracks days with my car. I implemented the mods appropriate for track duty and many of them via DIY. It is driving fast on track that is most fun, plus the wrenching. I just don't believe the s550 platform is the best for tracking, but I like that my only car serves many purposes.

And thanks for all the recommendations!
