I have now installed 2 CVFab race core intercoolers on my car. The first being a test unit and now the “final” product. The test unit had perfect fit, great build quality, and excellent performance. Even tho i was told the final product would have a “better” performing core... i didnt believe it could be much better. I was wrong.

Build quality... its built like a tank. The mounting points are rock solid and also has some bushings to keep shock/vibration stress off of each point. Cast end tanks... not welded sheetmetal.

Fitment... its an absolute beast. CVFab has managed to produce an intercooler that takes up every bit of usable space, and maintain perfect fitment.

Performance... Jason Anderson has all the data so ill leave that for him to post up. But i will say that it is pretty amazing. And yes, the core being used in the final product does actually perform better than the test unit i have been using for the past few months.

Bottom line... if you are in the market for an intercooler, this is the IC you should be looking at. Top notch fit, finish, and performance for under $500? Its really a no brainer.

    Silver is the test unit. Black is the final product. 38EBDFCE-FFE7-4EE2-8269-6EC4B7D2366B.jpeg A0E047DE-18A0-4170-B0E6-6C847F4C01ED.png 205153F0-E716-45E5-A668-BF92F134EB8D.jpeg E4092A20-5FC6-4879-A7C3-93F77B209BBA.jpeg CA17C9F4-C156-411F-936F-CF051FA70E68.jpeg B5543D76-37AE-432E-9EB9-C88B30550084.jpeg 975097B7-C550-4F85-A1B6-6B41164E707F.jpeg 99B92ED4-95C3-476D-A306-D07B8C478453.jpeg 22EB8CCE-D408-4975-9807-2B546C4257F6.jpeg 2A4F0189-028F-4C35-8A8B-6D84FECD1EBC.jpeg

Thanks for the extended test and write up! It's great to see more support for this platform, and CVF has been great. Definitely looks like frontal area has been maximized!

Single height, triple height, but no double height intercoolers?
