I have the following items listed in the ETIS print out for my EB with custom pack:

With Level 2 Door Trim Panel
With Lunar Contrast Stitching
Premium Marketing Trim

Not sure if that means upgrade from standard or not but you might assume so from the wording but then what do we know? We are only the people parting with the £30k+ for a car - no point in letting us know what we are paying for :-)

Hi
I ordered a silver gt in early june, i didnt order the custom pack as i preferred the black gt wheels. but i ordered the shaker, reverse parking and climate seats seperate, i was told by the sales guy, and by reading the ford config online, i would only be missing out on the silver wheels and chrome surround on the windows.
i now find out that i will also have the basic interior, where by the custom pack gets the leather on doors stitching on dash etc.
i find this unacceptable as was never told about this interior upgrade by ford or on fords uk website. anyone heard any info about this?
thanks
I remember this being pretty explicitly stated, something like 'Premium interior with contrast stitching' as part of the Custom pack. So I was well aware I wasn't getting it.

Well it certainly wasn't made clear here! I shall be most annoyed if this is the case. As has been the case from day one, no communication, seemingly no concern that there is still no confirmed specification and the website car configurator is still s:censored:te!

Custom pack details from website attached;

I have a specifications PDF here that says, under "Custom Appearance Package":

- Chrome DLO (Fastback only), c/o GT Perf Pack Wheels (I4), unique Wheel Finish (V8)
- Branded Audio (c/o), Navigation (c/o) and Black Raven PCAP (LHD only)
- Reverse Park Assist (c/o) and Climate Controlled Seats (c/o)
- Black leather seats, premium leather
- Real stitching on instrument panel
- Matching door inserts

and has a picture of a CP instrument panel next to a non-CP instrument panel with corresponding labels.

I got it April 21st, so it's certainly been known since at least then.

But the $64k question is does that apply to UK/RHD markets. No one seems to know or is telling...

I'm thinking, why would one of the options on the list be listed as 'LHD only' if the others weren't valid for both markets?

It's a valid point, however I have seen a spec sheet for EU vehicles which mentioned Recaros (which we don't get) with no market qualification, and this was also being held up as proof of trim differences.

As cars have been built they could just tell us. Guess that would be too easy

Can you upload that pdf? There were some " euro spec" ones around in the early days but none that I recall were"official / confirmed "...

Heres the link to the Australian RHD brochure. Shows a lot more than the basic one we get. Hopefully should be close to what we are getting.

Interesting to see that the Australians are given the option of a spare wheel where as in the US its not available with the performance pack. I would feel a lot happier with a spare rather than a tin of goo the UK cars come with.

Ditto. Of course we don't know what we'll be able to buy on day one at all. Given the cars are arriving in a British winter it would be useful to be able to get rubber mats. One thing we can't buy from the US...

And you'll pay as much again if not more once shipping, VAT and import duty are added.

I had some mats made up over here for my Boxster 10 years ago. As mine were the first made for the 987 I got a big discount. Must find their number.

So far everything I've priced up has worked out considerably cheaper importing from the States including shipping/VAT/customs charges, than buying direct from a supplier over here.

e.g. FRPP Sport catback exhaust £1150 from the States; almost £2000 over here.

HRE Flowform FF01 wheels x4 £2400 from the States; £2800 over here.
