This is correct. I have a Corvette i only tax in the nice weather and the rebate when i cash the tax in is based on the full price i.e each month is 1/12 of £475 this year.
I have a spare unused spare wheel kit from Automotive Authority, and also sold by Nemesis for £580. Perfect condition. Looking for £400 to get some space back in my garage. I am in Brighouse, West Yorkshire.
Have to say RHD makes it appealing for a daily driver (I have a C7 convertible now) but the styling doesnt really do it for me, and i much prefer a manual gearbox. But price is a big factor. Will we get the base V8, or have to stump up far more for a hybrid to keep those evil CO2s under control...
I also have a 16 GT. The passenger side is perfect. The drivers side was done by Stevie Wonder i think. I have just left it as it came. I am sure getting the dealers to try to tweak it is as likely to create more issues as it is to sort the original problem.
mine had this fail, and sorted under warrenty about 6 months before the MOT, around 18,000 miles. only thing i had done on warranty, although its the first car in years to need anything under warranty at all.
Got a call from my dealer yesterday. My car has arrived in Liverpool. I am amazed how quick its all been, it was only ordered 24th November. Its an almost exact copy of GWs car, except i went for manual. Not sure when it will be delivered, but not long. It will be interesting to compare with my...
I have a 2014 Wrangler 3.6, and i love it. In 5 years nothing has gone wrong either, and its cheap to run, apart from tax and fuel of course, but then that applies to my Mustang too, although the Mustang uses far less fuel than the Jeep overall. i assumed i would want the new Wrangler when it...
I too have an electric handbrake in another car. Horrible thing. Probably OK with an Auto box, but with a manual you dont have full control, and No, i dont do hand brake turns!. I hope Mustangs generally keep the manual version, or option of it for as long as possible.
I took the plunge again today. I have ordered a manual GT convertible in Ruby with custom pack 4 and magneride. Dealer guessed at 9 months but i hope it will be less. My father seems keen on taking over my existing GT so its great it will stay in the family
Thanks for the thoughts. I know how the spec has changed, but its little things like the better clutch and gearbox feel that is hard to pinpoint without others telling you. Obviously a test drive would answer some of these things, but the local dealers only have old shape Mustangs, and don't...
I am looking for thoughts from people who have gone from a 16 to a 19, what is better, what isnt as good.
I have had my 16 GT convertible for nearly 3 years, and 21,000 miles. Apart from some very minor issues its been great. I was just thinking about swapping into a new one.
Is the better...
My car is in for a Service today, and the chap who sold me it 2 and a half years ago asked me if i wanted a Bullitt. As i dont i didnt enquire further, but the garage is Lookers, York Road, Leeds if anyone is after one
Because the car has Keyless entry i have a Stoplock Pro, and the key lives in a Faraday pouch. Its certainly one element of technology i wish we could get rid of.
Although the custom pack 1 wheels look good, they are awful things to clean. I would go for the forged alloys despite their extra cost. But if you can put up cleaning all 80 spokes, go for the basic wheel, especially as you prefer the look
I bought a 16 convertible, it was under £40k. A current car would be just over £50k. It would have better shocks, and thats it really. I was getting bothered about the car out of warranty as they are not without their issues (not that i have had any so far). I realises the only car i could...
I suspect they are just being careful, i would expect a 3 year old Mustang to be worth quite a bit more than £18k, leaving a healthy bit of equity in the car for you at the end
I ended up an £51,480 for a Need for Green manual cabriolet. About £12k more than i paid for my car, and although it has a couple of bits i dont have. Thats 30% more in just 2 years (and i still dont like the looks as much).
But with Ford asking a lot more for the cars now, it cant do the...
I had never had cooled seats before, and wasnt really bothered, but did want heated seats, but i have to say, in a soft top with the roof down on a hot day they work really well, when conventional aircon would go straight out the big hole above your head. I would recommend them
