I had to read it a couple of times, but pretty sure he means RHD all get same interior. RHD are much much lower volume so it makes sense that they wouldn't make two dashboards. They could have made them all premium, rather than base though!
I have just sent an email back to him with regards to this question as it was puzzling me too.

Bad news I'm afraid.
"No we don’t get the upgraded interior you are referring to on RHD vehicles."

I have just had an email from Chris Muers who is the Product Marketing Manager for Ford UK, here is his reply.
"Just to confirm that the Custom pack does not pull any difference in trim for Right Hand Drive Mustang. Obviously if you have the pack you will get navigation and more speakers on the premium audio system and heated and cooled seats but there will be no further interior visible differences.
I hope that answers your questions – please don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any further questions."
It's good to see that there won't be any interior changes depending on whether we have chosen the Custom Pack or not.
"Just to confirm that the Custom pack does not pull any difference in trim for Right Hand Drive Mustang." - why the f:censored:k can't he just say 'there is no difference in trim for RHD Mustangs (plural)'?

Despite the confusing 'car manufacturing speak' (no prizes from the Plain English Society there!), I read it as 'all RHD cars get the same interior trim' ..... and for £35k I should f:censored:king well think so!

Edit:

Bad news I'm afraid.

WTF!!!!! ....... Is he saying we're paying more (£35k) and getting the crap interior?! Another thing to add to the list of missing/removed items I suppose (-5bhp, no recaros, no strut brace, no additional gauges etc etc etc etc). I find it f:censored:king unbelievable that folks have not only ordered cars but some have had them built already, and we STILL don't have a definitive, confirmed specification! But as usual Ford will continue to ignore any complaints and expect us all to resume bending over and taking it up the a:censored:e.

Exactly, it is annoying though that we don't all get the upgraded interior.

That still doesnt clear it up you can read in both ways. Typical ford bullshit..
For the money everyone is paying they should give the better interior to eveyone who orders the 3 optional extras seperate and the custom pack orders.
So what are the convertibles guys getting as they dont get the chrome trim just silver wheels

What are you saying about the gauges and strut brace? are you saying uk cars wont have this, I hope your joking right?? if true we are getting shafted big style, I knew about bonnet vents but not these it does not mention that they are missing online?

these are the only differences I can find http://www.kentmustang.com/index.php?cID=195

The main problem with the Custom Pack is that it includes the silver wheels. Quite a few people want the ventilated seats, sat nav and rear sensors but also want the black wheels.

Although I think we are being a bit harsh on Ford, at least they are starting to respond to our concerns - even if not as we would necessarily like.

It really is frankly a very badly organised piss up in a brewery. Just gets shittier all the time.

UK right hand drive cars have already been built. How hard can it be to get a list of exactly what we are getting.

My heart has ruled my head in this buying decision but my heart is rapidly getting broken.

Ford!!!!! Why has the original premise of the PP for UK markets been steadily watered down.??

If it's fancy interiors your wanting, you could always spend nearly double the amount of a mustang on an M4 and you don't even get a V8 in that any more.

I have a list of what I'm getting, it's in Etis. Lots of references to trim in that

Wanting a 'fancy' interior is not really the point. I'm not expecting some super-fancy bespoke interior for UK cars, but it would be nice to think that we were getting close to the best interior available given the complete lack of choice that we get for the car as a whole - this is stuff that Ford is installing in other Mustangs remember, so it's not wanting anything more 'fancy' than interiors they already make.

But as usual, Ford have drip-fed us via rumour and internet hearsay yet another small reduction in what we're getting for our money - and as usual people will say 'oh, it's only 5bhp' or 'oh well, the strut brace is no big deal' etc etc.

I suppose you could say it's very clever of Ford; no official spec, keep chipping bits off slowly and no-one will create too much fuss. If they'd announced a huge reduction in spec all in one go then they probably would've had a few cancelled orders.

I'm not speaking for myself here, but a great many early customers are buying this car because it's been life-long passion to own a Mustang. It's such a shame Ford are not matching that passion by doing something (for the first few customers/UCL winners, at least) from the heart, rather than repaying a great deal of faith and loyalty with a series of seemingly dispassionate, detached and clinical decisions - but I guess to them it's just a business, so why should they? .....
