Hey guys I have been through many exhaust changes through the last 2 years. I had an mbrp street as my first and then I did headers and kept that for a while. I then got an x pipe and muffler delete which was ridiculous and I got pulled over 2 times within a few days driving like an absolute grandpa. I got roush mufflers to go with the x pipe and headers and that was almost perfect but drone was annoying on the highway. I then got a mbrp race and its too quiet for me and also has some drone between 2 and 3k rmp. I am getting a stock catback in hopes of being stock when I drive on the highway and for cold starts for early morning and late night driving. I wanted to add electronic cutouts right after the stock briefcase or mid muffler/resonator that way I could open it up an bypass the rear mufflers and have both loud and quiet setups. I was wondering opinions if I should delete the mid muffler for weight/power because I do have a vmp gen3 supercharger. I do realize it would pretty much be open headers with x pipe and cutouts before the rear mufflers. Just wanted to hear some opinions on the stock mid muffler and how it would effect power. Let me know!

I got my mine used and it had an off road cat back on it from the previous owner. So no mid box and no mufflers. I had a shop install a pair of magnaflow mufflers on it. However, prior to that I measured 92 decibels at idle from ten feet. Short answer is that cut outs are going to be like straight pipes.
