HI All,

I wanted to know if this crate motor can fit in to the a 2015 Ecoboost PP manual? Has anyone seen this modified to fit in to a 15-17 Car?

You need to call ford performance about the fitment since I believe you also need to buy the FP control pack kit for this to work in any 15-23 mustang. I don't believe it is a plug and play install without FP control pack. Read the FP info on the crate engine very closely.

Isn't the 310 hp 2.3t the standard e/b in these cars.
When I was looking the ford site listed the e/b as 310hp and 350ft lb. and the E/b pp as 330hp 350ftlb.

Correct. However, the Ford Performance tune on standard 2.3 exceeds HPP outputs.

Correct on the standard and HPP numbers but the FP crate engine is using analog TB and separate control pack engine harness. There is a member on the mustangecoboost.net forum that was looking at going with the FP crate engine until he called FP and was told it was not a plug and play swap into his mustang without control pack kit.

Ford Performance offers the high tech, 2018 Mustang 2.3L EcoBoost turbocharged engine as a crate engine kit. With turbocharging, direct injection and twin independent variable cam timing (Ti-VCT), this kind of performance comes standard with a dose of adrenaline. The swap possibilities are almost endless; from early street rods, kit cars, most generations of Mustang, to just about any other vehicle build. The Ford Performance Control Pack helps make for an easy plug and play installation (available separately).

  • 2.3L EcoBoost engine as used in the 2018 Mustang
  • 310 hp @ 5,500 rpm, 350 lb.-ft. torque @ 3,000 rpm (with 93 octane fuel)
  • Designed for traditional rear drive installations

Engine kit includes:

  • Engine
  • Production turbocharger
  • Starter and mounting hardware
  • Alternator and mounting hardware
  • Engine harness (not installed, must be used with Ford Performance Control Pack)
  • Throttle body (analog type - not installed, required for Ford Performance Control Pack)
  • Engine kit uses Ford Performance M-6017-23T Control Pack (not included)
  • Click HERE for exterior engine dimensions
Plus, it's for off road use only.

See post 33 and 35 in this thread.

M-6007-23TA fits 2018 to 2023 (Levittown ford)

Someone double check these numbers?
The block is the same number from 2015 to 2019...LR3Z-6009B
The head is the same number from 2015 to 2023...EJ7Z-6049A
The intake is the same number from 2015 to 2023...FR3Z-9424P
The cams are the same number from 2015 to 2023...M-6250-23EBH
The turbo is the same number from 2015 to2023...FR3Z-6K682E

The hard parts appear to be there....What other different attaching parts could be needed from a 2015-17 to make this work for those years/15-17?
I sure am thinking getting this . A guy on another site MustangEcoboost (facebook)said he did this with a 2015. Summit has them for $5200-- 72 miles from me.

I believe if you use the wiring harness and PCM from your original vehicle and other year specific parts that it can be pretty much a plug and play swap. There are a couple threads on the ecoboost.net talking about guys using the crate motors in their cars.
