Getting lowering springs installed next week, already did the CB005 last yr and noticed my pass rear wheel is slightly off center vs my drivers side

Will they be able to correct that and get the cradle centered once they do the alignment? Or should I get that dowel kit to center the cradle?

I’m hoping while there doing the alignment they can correct the cradle being off center?

Yes. Wheel alignment has nothing to do with cradle. While they're turning the big bolts, you might as well have them put in an IRS brace of your choice. Not sure why you didn't do the dowel thing last year when they already had everything apart for the CB005 install.

Wasn’t aware u needed the dowels.....But I figured they could loosen the cradle bolts, center it without using the dowels? So many threads said get an alignment after CB005 install so that’s why I asked?

The shop you chose could have, but apparently didn't. The dowels make the process idiot/lazy-proof. I don't know what kind of precision is possible (or time needed) to get the IRS squared up sans dowels.

They didn’t install the CB005, I did last year and at the time I wasn’t aware u needed the dowels or I wouldve order them

Now the car goes in next week for minimal drops and alignment and I’d like to make sure if I should buy the dowels now and just have them install them while it’s there getting the springs/alignment?

I’ll order them right now if it will center the cradle

it will. beware there are 2 lengths. One for Steeda IRS lockouts and one for BMR. The latter are shorter. It's just delrin so any saw will make short work of them.

I bought raw stock and reamers to make my own but haven't gotten around to it.

I just ordered the correct one from BMR, they sell their own so I assume they work with their CB005

It could easily just be rear wheel camber is off from left to right. Those camber adjustments are a slotted hole, and could shift more easily than the cradle itself.

Thanks, I still ordered the dowels, I figure they can’t hurt to install now since I’ll have the springs out

correct. you'll have loosened and knocked the frame out of alignment most likely just installing the springs. Now when you bolt it back up, it'll be on-axis.

BMR also has 2 different lockout kits. The alignment kit that works with the Steeda lockout will work with the base BMR lockout.
