Could my rev limiter be off? 2019 GT

I have done some pulls and I have seen the red light, but not noticed any limiter coming on. I have the MT-82 transmission. I have looked in the Track Apps menu and I don't see a selection for it.

Sounds like you’re seeing the red shift light activate. The max rpm for the shift light is 7200. Rev it out higher and you’ll eventually hit it.

If your car is tuned, the Rev limiter may even be higher than the factory setting. Mine has been increased to 7900.

Who tuned you? My car doesn't have a limiter turned on. It is an 18 MT-82 car. The shift light on the 18+ cars go to 7400 I think. But I have numerous logs with me revving into the 8k rpm range.

I bought it used at a Mercedes dealership. Honestly never thought to get it checked until now. Everything else is stock.

If you don't hit a limiter at 7400 in any gear it is possibly removed. I would say that is fine if you are a good driver. The top of third gear is go to jail territory on a D4 even at stock redline.

It shouldn't be an issue for you.
