It cuts at 6500 ?? I thought redline was 7k? 6500 rpm is peak power of the engine, makes no sense to cut fuel right there.

That's what I thought! Yeah it fell on its face at 6500. I have just under 500 miles so I am hoping maybe it's programmed like this that the full 7K will be opened up after XXX Amount of miles?? Maybe just after 5? I don't know it's odd though.

Would like to hear from those that have dynoed because mine is getting baselined tomorrow and would really like that extra 500 rpm.

I don't think it cuts fuel. I think it cuts spark to different cylinders to lower rpm's to below 7000 range. This is why it cuts out and kicks back on right away. You can see this happen by watching the tach bounce up/down when the limiter kicks in.

Can someone with a GT test this? 6500 redline would explain why the 2015 is slower than the 2014. Those extra 500 RPM should provide a much better powerband!

I, too, have heard 6800. I am sure a tune could fix those few extra rpms.

I'm sure there is a fuel "slow down" around 6500rpm and then a hard cut off a little higher without a tune. At least that is how every other vehicle was that I have see tuned.
