Nice ride. Yellow looks great with the black top!

How many convertible owners have decided to tint?

If you did, please post some photos (especially if you have an Ingot).

If you thought about it and decided not to, why?
If I tint my DIB convertible, it would probably be later. I am planning to run without a front plate in California (with a sto-n-sho or something in the trunk). I really don't want to give an officer two reasons to pull me over. :-)

Giddyup, I know that falls into the 'why bother' category for you :-) obviously, it's a personal taste choice. My thinking, before having my car, is that with the dark blue paint in the black top that got blacked out windows R too much for me. I'm not going for badass (as Jerry S. would say, "... Not that there's anything wrong with that. :-)

Yeah I actually think the opposite of what you think I think  LOL...tinting a convertible is a "why bother" thing, especially for one like mine that is only going to be taken out on nice days! :D If it is nice enough to have the top down, the windows will be down too, so the tint really is just for style on my car. I do like the brow on the top of the windshield for sun shielding while driving into the sun, like I did this morning! I've tinted every car I've ever owned, so it is just second nature to me I guess!

I'm running the Sto-N-Sho plate holder as well, and I will only put it on when traveling outside of Springs. The police here are pretty sparse and relaxed, especially being a military town where everyone has plates from other states...no one will care if I'm not running a front plate (I hope anyway!)

Giddyup,
I sit corrected on calling you then. :-) what do I know I don't even have a car yet. ;)
I had not thought of your idea. When I leave the house if I'm going for a longer drive, I may decide to throw the plate on. Thanks for the tip.

I saw a Race Red Eco-Boost Convertible yesterday with the Top Down. It had the 50th Anniversary Appearance Package and also had Chrome Ponys on the front fenders. It looked really nice. I was in traffic and couldn't get to my phone in time to get any pics.

Wow, Icarumba. That is quite a photo shoot of 'your' car. :)

How sweet is this. Instead of sending pics of your new car to friends, you just send this little linky of how you spent your summer vacation' ;)

I'll have to ask Chris over on the photoshop page to convert all these pics to deep impact blue... Oh and of course add several silver stripe combos, just 'cuz.

Lol...Even though I didn't order, I remember those sleepless nights waiting for the convertibles to hit the streets!

A number of weeks ago the convertible cover caps we're supposed to be available at dealers by February 15th to send out 2 convertible owners who had not got them. And convertibles after that date were supposed to be delivered with them (or dealers would add them at the time of delivery.)

has anyone gotten there side caps for the convertible yet either upon delivery from the factory or from dealers parts department?
